I hope you and your family are safe and healthy!

My name is McKenzie Bradley and I am very excited to join the SMEC team and serve as the traveling PE/DAPE (Developmentally Appropriate Physical Education)/Health teacher. I look forward to learning from the students as well as guiding them to an active and healthy lifestyle they enjoy.

While I am most interested in getting to know the students, I would like to share a little bit about myself. I grew up and was raised in the Adams area and graduated from Southland High School. This past spring, I graduated with a degree in Physical Education, Health Education, and Adapted Physical Education from the University Wisconsin La Crosse. I also had the wonderful opportunity compete in track and field and cross country during my undergraduate years. I enjoy staying active whether its running, biking, walking, or any adventure in the outdoors. A few other of my hobbies include baking, having a cup of coffee with family, or fishing. Fun fact is I have an amazing twin sister and learned how to ride a unicycle in elementary school.

In adherence to the MN department of education physical education recommendations, as well as collaboration with administration and other physical educators in the consortium, we are doing everything we can to keep your child safe while returning to school. As a team we are staying up to date on health guidelines and protocols while delivering state standard based instruction.

I have attached a file to share a little bit about physical education along with physical activity. Living a active an healthy lifestyle is most successful when supported by those around you. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have or how I can support your child!

I am looking forward to aiding in your child’s continued success in living a healthy and active lifestyle!
